Changing format to more tech and gadgets

Hey gang,

I know many people find us by the search engines, in fact, many articles are designed for good ranking. I’m getting away from the bizop articles and reviews and taking the blog more to tech and gadgets. It’s actually quite difficult to keep reviewing an industry that’s so often about crooks.
With the tech format I’ll be posting a lot more often, and promise it won’t be a stream of ads. I’ve been on Gizmodo and many other tech blogs, and think they’ve just sold out and can do a much better job. Sp many of the “gadget blogs” have become so diluted with phone apps and lego articles. I’m going to focus on really interesting tech that matters.

Wealth Without Risk by Saen Higgins

wealth without risk

Wealth Without Risk by Saen Higgins is a book about buying tax liens. This is when someone doesn’t pay taxes due on a property and the government puts a lien on it, then sells the debt to the public at auction. His book costs $40 which is more than double what you’ll pay for a comparable book at amazon.com or a local book store. Many people call it a scam because a week after you buy it, they’re going to call and try to talk you into a mentoring package which is $2,500 and up to one guy who said he spent $25,000. The only thing I don’t like about it is during the infomercial they make it sound much, MUCH easier than it really is. (more…)

Upmyrank Review

UpMyRank (upmyrank.com) is a service that has you run their script program to click on different Alexa ranked websites. The other two clicks they keep and sell for marketing purposes (you can buy credits from them for additional traffic. The real issue is that having a higher Alexa ranking doesn’t provide much benefit in and of itself. This isn’t like Google Pagerank where your (more…)

Referral Link Spamming: What is it?

The problem of referral link spamming has been around a while now. It’s done by unethical marketers for a couple of different reasons, and so far there’s no easy solutions for it. In a nutshell it’s when someone sends tons of referral links to create fake visits to a blog or web site. As you can imagine most bloggers and webmasters are angry because it makes it just about impossible to tell how many real visitors you’re getting or where they’re coming from. There’s three main reasons for it. Blogs are usually hit by commercial companies who will (more…)

neverrepayit.com review, is it a scam or not?

neverrepayit.com ReviewYou may have heard a radio commercial for neverrepayit.com where they imply you’ll get “funded” with $1497 twice per week. This is a scam folks, similar to a pyramid scheme or illegal cash gifting. You don’t get the money for free, you have to spend thousands for the neverrepayit.com package “for people of means” (with lots of money to throw away). They tell you to recruit your friends and family and get them to buy in and you get a commission. They have nothing to do with any government agency. (more…)
