For many years I’ve worked behind the scenes in the Internet marketing industry and spoken with thousands of people who were either very new to this, or been burned half a dozen times with failed Internet businesses.

I’ve done enough reviews of junk products and heard enough horror stories of people strung along for years on the schemes out there that if you call, you’ll be able to tell I’m very sincere and won’t hold any information back, or ambush you with a sales pitch over something as important as deciding which Internet business to start.

The other reason why I have people call to find out is because this is a product that you show to people, you don’t sell them on it. It’s free to do this and takes 4-5 minutes with a web browser, but I knew about it for six months and until I tried it, I never would have gotten involved in the business.

The most common response is “I didn’t even know you could do that”. A prime example was a woman I spoke with the other day and she had heard about it at several business meetings, but had never tried it. She was actually giggling when she did and agreed hearing about it wasn’t the same as actually trying it.

If you’ve read any of my reviews you probably know how much junk there is out there. Now we have gurus, guru-busters, self proclaimed “consumer advocates” who pan one thing then try to sell you on another, even people who give themselves titles like “investigator” who do reviews just to make their thing look better. I don’t do links here, I spend about 2 hours on every review, and if it’s good I’ll point that out as well. The problem is, most make their money off business opportunity seekers (there’s 20 million at any given time) and most make it whether you succeed or fail.

Our business is one where you can only succeed when your people do well. The recession doesn’t affect it because it’s 1/5th the price of anything else, and there’s no competition. It’s a consumable product that people never stop using because there’s no reason to. Nobody ever wants to go back to paying 5 times as much for something they want to do anyway. This industry started in the 13th century, and is about as stable as you can ask for. It’s also one that if two years ago you said I’d be doing, I’d have said you were crazy. It’s also got both things going for it in a recession, it saves people money in a tangible way, and also helps them to make it.
