Taking a break from reviews tonight, but I have two more coming on Sunday about Traffic Geyser and Unicity and these should be good ones. In the meantime there’s a few lenses I’ve done. (more…)

Jeff Pauls Shortcuts to Internet Millions
Jeff Pauls Shortcuts to internet millions, you’ve seen the busty women on his infomercials about how super easy and how you don’t need to know anything to make loads of cash. Well this is too good to be true, I’ll explain what’s going to happen to you after you get this course.
The costs
First it’s $54.95 with shipping to get the disks and affiliate sites he mentions, also you’re credit card is automatically billed $39.95 to be in the Big League Players Club, but they waive the first month so you won’t notice that right away.
There will also be telemarketers calling to get you enrolled in phone mentoring. They will ask how much credit card credit you have, and then go for the highest amount you’ve got. These packages are from $5,000-$15,000 and if you don’t have the money, they will tell you a place to get credit in order to purchase them.
These are comission based telemarketers and they are very aggressive for that reason. I believe he’s still using Mentoring of America to sub it out. There’s also a merchant account and other things they will tell you that you need. I’ve read several nightmare message posts from people unable to get refunds, or the recurring charges to stop on their credit card.
Much of the disk and manual content is just repackaged material from courses sold years ago. The real shame here is a two parter. For one, you can go to a place like Clickbank and sign up for as many affiliate sites as you want for free, there is no value in this or the “club” for $39.95 a month to get any more of them.
The bad news
The real dire news is to do affiliate marketing, you need a site with a lot of free traffic (natural search engines) like a message board or other site that you do not do direct sales with. You have to have this.
Using pay per clicks will rarely break even and you’ll usually lose money by the time you buy 100 visitors at whatever price and then even if one converts to a sale, the comission will be wiped out by what you paid to get the visitors that way. Regardless, this is what they are pushing on people they claim need no Internet experience.
The informercial for Shortcuts to internet millions never takes their foot off the gas. It’s a constant barrage of promises and guarantees, and having two busty women lean into the camera is so blatant that at least that should tip off a few people that this isn’t going to work for them.
At least one person noticed the guy shaking is head “no” while giving a testimonial of all the money he’s made, which can be a pretty clear sign he’s contradicting what he’s saying.
Jeff Paul makes his money off business opportunity seekers, their business model isn’t one that they do well when you succeed, they upsell you a huge payday for themselves upfront.
Of course if you manage to sell anything from the affiliate pages they give you (which you can get for free with clickbank anyway) I’m sure they get a comission as well, but don’t worry, that’s never going to happen. The reason is you need an already successful high traffic site that does not sell anything (or you’d bleed customer visits) in order to make a profit as an affiliate.
Unfortunately busty women with low cut tops is going to get them viewers, and with all the over the top pitches and promises he’s going to get a lot of people to try it.
With todays economic climate, this is all too much of what people want to hear. The problem is, these are the people who can least afford to get into a cycle of failure trying this and only finding out later what it takes to do affiliate marketing.
