Loral Langemeier is a well know financial trainer who has appeared on MSNBC and radio talk shows. Liveoutloud.com offers a range of wealth building products from books for a $6,000 personally coached seminar. She has testimonials from big names, and the books focus on building wealth through investing as well as business promotion.
The site has a clean design but the product descriptions are in bullet points with lots of focus on wealth, but few details about exactly what’s in them. Their 8 DVD real estate course has only seven bullet points to describe it?
These online and disk courses are all in the range of several hundred dollars, and they look good and promise a lot of information, but there’s not enough sales copy or details to compel me to buy. It’s disapointing to see products like this without samples, specific examples, even video clips from an 8 DVD course would go a long way to make a sale before visitors get hit with the pricing.
I do disagree with several things here. The advice that thinking with a millionaire mindset is going to make you into one is like thinking about baseball is going to get you into MLB is nonesense.
Telling people to form LLC corporations, hire a team of star talent, and to delegate things to a team of advisors is very out of touch for the average person. Her target market doesn’t have those resources typically or they wouldn’t be buying a book on how to get wealthy.
With that being said, the topics are sound, real estate investing is a proven way to build wealth, investing, and so on. The credit repair book sells for $67 and the printed books are available at amazon.com for less than $20. What it isn’t is an actual business, she focuses more on building a plan which is good of course, but people looking to get into something like a turn-key business should look elsewhere.
