Yeah it's gotten a lot worse since the CEO Mark Petschel plead guilty to securities fraud. Also their coverage map was identical to AT&T but they said they didn't have any deal with Zero1, big red flag there.
I think Laptop magazine really regrets giving them an award, and they never should have done it before Buzzirk could even provide a phone to test.
There was a pretty good interview with Ben Piilani and his regrets about Buzzirk not having a compliance officer right from the start. It's such a mess, one or two videos of him operating a phone at a trade show and thousands of people dove in and started recruiting.
I know two people who got into it, but when they didn't ship phones they came to their senses and bailed. At least a whole lot of people learned a lesson about vaporware for the bargain price of $80...

You may have been wise to hold back on this one, Zero1 and Global verge/Buzzirk Mobile have been getting a lot of attention and very little of it has been good. Just the other day Laptop Magazine took the extraordinary step of formally rescinding the "Best of CTIA Award" they gave Zero1 last April.

http://blog.laptopmag.com/laptop-rescinds-best-of-ctia-award-for-zer01-mobile

That link has the details and that has been just the latest of many negative news events of late. Zero1 might some day produce a viable product and if they do I wish them well. I am by no means anti-MLM but Global Verge/ Buzzirk Mobile are starting to look like the type of company that gives MLM/ Direct Sales a bad name.
