Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead – FireFox

On some browsers (such as Firefox) the SSL key is not stored in the operating system but in their own storage. You will be presented with a “Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead” like the one below.

Click the Open Menu button on the far right of the browser. Click the Settings link.

Next click the Privacy & Security link.

Scroll to the bottom where you will find Certificates.

Click the [ View Certificates… ] button, which will present you with the Certificates Manager.

Click the [ Import… ] button and browse to :

  • Windows: c:\ProgramData\.ds\data\ssl
  • Mac: Users > Shared > .ds > data > ssl ( You will need to have hidden files turned on to see the .ds folder )

Select the ServerPressCA.crt file and [ Open ]

Check the box for “Trust this CA to identify websites.” Click [ OK ] and then [ OK ] again in the Certificate Manager.

You will only have to do this one time.
